A couple of years ago I adopted Dulce Luna Primorosa Masías at an “Adoption Session” sponsored by Garras y Patas Foundation. There I found Dulce, a very beautiful, two-year-old, female stray (or mongrel) dog. She is a mixed dog and before we came across with each other, she had been given for adoption because her previous owner had got very ill and could no longer take care of her. Luckily, she didn’t spend too much time waiting for someone to take care of her!
I look after her the best way I can, in order to keep her in the best possible shape, after all she is my companion and at times I see her as my family, she is not very independent as any other dog so I have to arrange my schedule to have time to see her and that’s why we spend quite a lot of time together and little by little we have become a small but very loving, human-dog pack-family.

She is was a "mature" dog but paradoxically full of energy. She was not trained as a puppy and despite she has some bad habits she has never spoilt it badly inside the flat, the only very big issue with her is that she pulls on the leash, A LOT! she’s always pulling and barking at cats in the streets which is dangerous because a fierce cat could attack her. Another thing is that she doesn’t have the best fur quality, she's always losing it and I have to brush her twice a day, also I walk her three times a day and feed her also three times a day (or so I try because sometimes I have classes and cannot make it for three-wals a day).

ReplyDeleteI love the name of the foundation "Garras y Patas".
The dogs are best friends of the humans :)
ReplyDeleteShe looks so happy in the photos!
ReplyDeleteAww, she is very beautiful! Brushing her twice a day is a lot! you're very patient and a clear Dulce Luna Primorosa's lover.
ReplyDeleteYou seem to be a really good owner. Congrats, she's really cute!
ReplyDeleteIt seems to be a nice "partnership". Also she's really pretty.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I'm a cat lover, your dog is definitely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh, she is very beautiful. It seems like she receives a lot of love.
ReplyDeleteI believe very much in the terminology " human-dog pack-family", always the dogs, the pets in generals, become in one integrant more in the family that brings happiness in the day by day.
ReplyDeleteI love her name, so fancy! It makes me very happy that you could adopted her and let her live the life she deserves
ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful pet and with a good name. Dogs are great animals.
